EuP Group joins hands to support Yen Bai Province’s employees affected by Typhoon Yagi

Recently, Typhoon Yagi has caused severe damage to the northern provinces of Vietnam, especially Yen Bai Province - one of the locations of EuP Group's factories. Not only affecting the lives of the people, the storm and the subsequent floods have made it difficult for the families of EuP Group's employees in this area to live.

With the spirit of "mutual love", EuP Group has quickly implemented support activities for employees in Yen Bai. On September 11, the EuP Group Emergency Relief Team led by Mr. Dao Tien Thinh - Head of External Relations Department of Yen Bai Region, visited the homes of EuP Group employees affected by the flood with emergency support gifts including necessities, flashlights, power banks, medicines, etc., with a total of 350 gifts worth 200,000,000 VND. EuP Group also supported 962 employees of the company working in the Yen Bai region with a total amount of 500,000 VND/person, equivalent to 481,000,000 VND. This action not only demonstrates the Board of Directors’ concern for the lives of employees, but also affirms EuP's commitment to always accompany and support employees to overcome difficulties.

Before that, when the storm was about to reach Vietnam, EuP Group had mobilized 100% of its emergency response teams to be on duty at the headquarters, reinforced locations that could be damaged by storms and floods, and propagated storm and flood prevention measures to employees. During the storm, EuP Group also mobilized existing vehicles and machinery to participate in rescue and cleanup after the storm and flood at Nam Cuong intersection and two areas of Nguyen Thai Hoc and Hoang Hoa Tham wards - Yen Bai City.

In addition, 7 EuP Group’s subsidiaries located in Yen Bai province: European Plastic Company, Yen Bai European Plastic Company, European Plastic Wood Investment & Development JSC, Yen Bai Industrial Minerals JSC, Yen Bai PolyFill JSC, Marble Vietnam Mineral JSC, and Chan Thien My Production and Trading Company Limited have jointly supported people in difficult circumstances in Yen Bai province through the Yen Bai Provincial Fatherland Front: VND 1,000,000,000 VND.

In addition to economic development, EuP Group always strives in community activities, especially in cases of natural disasters and calamities - reflecting the Vietnamese spirit of "mutual love", "the rich help the poor" that is always deeply engraved in the Group's development philosophy. Through practical actions, EuP Group hopes to not only contribute to reducing the burden on employees, but also spread the spirit of solidarity and love in the community. And supporting employees in Yen Bai affected by Typhoon Yagi is a clear demonstration of the Group's philosophy of sustainable and humane development.

In the future, EuP Group is committed to continuing to carry out meaningful social activities, not only to ensure the rights of employees but also to contribute to the common development of the community. This is an affirmation of EuP's vision and mission in building a group that is not only strong in economy but also rich in spiritual values.
